The ACOM 1000 is a high-performance amplifier designed for ham radio enthusiasts. It delivers a robust 1000 watts across all bands from 160 to 6 meters. One of its standout features is the plate-load True Resistance Indicator (TRI), an efficient tuning aid. Combined with an automatically controlled input attenuator, this allows operators to match antennas quickly, typically within 5 to 10 seconds. The auto-operate function further enhances usability by keeping the amplifier in OPERATE mode, minimizing the need for manual adjustments.

In addition to its ease of operation, the ACOM 1000 eliminates the need for separate antenna tuners, as it can handle a Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) of up to 3:1.
